Open enrollment for benefits begins Oct. 1
Open enrollment for 2025 is from Oct. 1-31, 2024. This is your opportunity to review your coverage, make any necessary changes and ensure your benefits meet your needs and those of your family. If you do not make any changes, your current coverage will carry over through next year.

KEY CHANGES—EFFECTIVE JAN. 1, 2025
The plan will implement a 5% premium rate increase for all coverage options. for rates for State Health Plan for Jan. 1, 2025.
The Base Plan family deductible will increase to $3,300 to meet the minimum required regulations under federal law. The Base Plan coverage option qualifies under IRS regulations as a high-deductible health plan that can be used with a health-savings account. There are no other deductible changes for 2025.

Open sessions will be held on the following dates. Individual appointments with benefit specialists and walk-ins are welcome.
- Wednesday, Oct. 2, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., North Mississippi Research and Extension Center, Vernona
- Friday, Oct. 4, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Delta Research and Extension Center, Stoneville
- Monday, Oct. 7, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Central Mississippi Research and Extension Center, Raymond
- Wednesday, Oct. 9, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Meridian Campus
- Thursday, Oct. 10, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Coastal Research and Extension Center, Biloxi
- Friday, Oct. 11, 1 p.m.-3 p.m., Mississippi State University, Starkville, 181 McArthur Hall Training Room
